I feel depressed I don't lead a more kawaii life

Then I ask myself: "What would Eric Clapton think of me if he saw me like this?"

Then I man up and go snort some cocaine.

I feel this is a really good question to ask yourself, all of you should try it someday.

Another Day In Brazil

I was in my high school at the time, and really needed to pee, like oh my god my bladder is going to explode or some shit nigger.

So I went to the bathroom, now you know what school bathrooms are like, but this one isn't half bad: There are a bunch of private stalls where one can take a shit in peace, there is almost always paper to wipe your ass with and hell, there is even a handicapped stall, shit's tight.

So I walk into this place, head into the main shit hall and BAM, a fucking poop right in the middle of the place.

Imagine this hall, stalls to your left, urinators to your front, sinks to your right and a big pile of dark brown shit in the middle of it all, for all to see.

This should be a quite disconcerting sight for any and all people, and it was, but I had no doubt in my mind as to who did it as I walked hastly out of the bathroom. Informatic students.

Informatic is a common techincal course kids take in Brazil so they can work with IT and simple code, and they are invariably the most vile people in the planet. To take shits in the middle of hallways is but a common rite to them.

So, the reason that I tell you of this tale is this. If you ever need to deal with IT or code people, do ask for their nationality, and if they are Brazilian just hang up and find another person to help you, trust me.

More Music

I love music, and above all other music I love Irish music, be it The Dubliners, The Pogues or Flogging Molly.

Irish Music, in my opinion, can be divided in 2 categories. Irish Folk, or Traditional and Irish Punk/Rock.

Irish Folk normally uses only traditional instruments such as the violin, the acoustic guitar, the accordeon and the tin whistle, although some bands have also started to use the banjo too. The songs are played mostly in Allegro, very fast and lively with plenty of chorus, although most have a set vocalist it is normal for the whole band to sing during the chorus. The listeners are encouraged to beat and sing along to the song too.

This is all in antithesis to the actual lyrics of the songs, which most of the time talk about sad things, most commonly the need to leave Ireland because of basically the British. Examples of such songs would be The Black Velvet Band and Poor Paddy Works on the Railway. I couldn't find a good example of Poor Paddy on YOUTUBE but here is the Black Velvet Band:

Black Velvet Band - The Dubliners([youtube] doesn't work helpo)

To summarize, the Irish fucking hate the English. Maybe I will talk about Irish Punk/Rock someday who KNOWS.

I do know some of you do not appreciate the magic that is K-On! so to make up for yesterday's post I shall introduce you to the best music my country has ever made, Bossa Nova.

Corcovado - Stan Getz/João Gilberto

In this video you have the song Corcovado played by Stan Getz, João Gilberto and his then wife Astrud Gilberto. This is part of an album called Getz/Gilberto with many other songs like this, it is so fucking awesome it won the 1965 Grammy for Best Album of The Year and a dozen other things. It is also one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time. So yeah this shit is fucking awesome.

Doesn't matter you can't understand half the lyrics, this shit is fucking classy.

A tale of today

Today I decided to see if anyone else in Brazil likes K-On!

So I opened up google and searched for "K-On! Brasil", just some banks with k and on in their names, then "K-On! Brazil" and I get something about a Brazil-Netherlands partnership.

Thinking I'm safe from ever meeting anyone else that likes K-On! in real life, I finally search for "K-on! BR", and this is the first fucking result

My country has been infected, I will never look upon my city, São Paulo, the greatest city in South America, or upon Brasilia, our most esteemed capital, with the same eyes again, for I know they lurk and actually openly admit to liking K-On!

In other news I now have a K-On! shimeji no thanks to Dongcopter.

A day in Brazil

Right after I woke up I went outside my house to take in the morning air and the newspaper or some shit. On the park in front of my house there were these two guys: One of them was beating on a drum and the other playing a guitar, both were singing something along the line of "Ah eh oh lá lá mah oh ee eh" and there were some people in front of them dancing. I will let you fill the details.

After looking at them for a second I got my newspaper and entered my house because that shit happens everyday in Brazil and isn't anything special.
